Well compared to climbing Mayan ruins and swimming with turtles, this post will seem a bit boring. We got right back into our normal routine when we got home and it looks a little like this.
We chilled out with friends.
Worked in the yard.
Reaped the rewards.
Had lots and lots of tickle fights.
Made a new "April Showers" themed wreath. No tutorial on this one cause it's so simple. Buy a box of umbrella party skewers and a Styrofoam wreath form and combine. I didn't even glue it as I want to take it apart and reuse the wreath for my next project.
We've been going to a lot of parks lately too as this guy likes to run. We checked out Gas Works on a particularly grey and muddy day but still had a great time.
Get used to seeing the back of his head as he is always running away from us now.
Ah Ha, caught him!
And finally we had a practice egg hunt at the community center down the street. He thought the eggs were balls and promptly threw the first one he found to the ground where the little piece of candy popped out. He caught on quickly from there and we came home with a dozen eggs, although Nolan only got 2 pieces of the candy. I don't know what happened to the rest...
Tomorrow we're heading up to Bellingham for the for real Easter celebration and I'm sure there will be many pictures to show of that adventure.
