We started the day with just a few goodies in his Easter basket, a new truck (Nolan calls all modes of transportation choo choos), a bug zoo and an etch a sketch.
Oh and did I mention a trampoline? He paid his dues to all his new toys but the trampoline was the winner of the day!
After a bit of jumping we pulled on our rain coats and went outside to see what the Easter bunny had left. He was very generous this year.
We let the Easter bunny know that we were a sugar free house this year so he cleverly left us bunny crackers and cash. Nicely done, although I missed the Peeps!
We barely got him in the door before he started cracking those things open and banking his earnings.
I guess he had to open every single one to check it out.
Later in the day, up in Bellingham we had a lovely brunch with family.
And another egg hunt, this time with real eggs!
We were tuckered out after all those festivities and settled in for a quick cuddle and movie.
And of course a family shot!
What a huge difference from last year, I love that Nolan seems to fall so easily in love with these holidays, I can't wait for the next one!
