iPhone Offload: Winter

Miles discovered Yo Gabba Gabba, he's a big fan.
Yo Gabba Gabba also keeps him busy while I fold the never ending pile of laundry.
His other favorite past time is bath time.
Miles takes after his mama in that he is NOT a morning person. It takes him a good 45 minutes to wake up just to function. Here he is camping out on his changing pad.
playdate science with Nolan's bff Corbin
Miles fell asleep during Nolan's crazy, loud birthday after party. Such a crazy kid!

The night the power went out. Luckily the iPad was fully charged because the kids weren't in the mood to sleep.
Miles' favorite hide out: Nolan's room
More bath time.

Nolan's classroom "dog" champ came to visit us for a week. He's the one on the left.
Our painted seahawks window all ready for the Super Bowl.
And yet more bath time.

Day 1 of Miles facing forward in his carseat. Nolan has since come around to it.
Pinterest for the win! I finally found a solution for keeping my necklaces from tangling.
Nolan helping with the endless pile of laundry.
Miles digging for the last sock way in the back.
This day he was REALLY not ready to get up.
Valentine's day cookie party. AKA Miles heaven.
Falling asleep at the laser show with auntie Em. All those late nights finally catching up to him.

A little post bath naked time.
I love the chub hanging over the table as he eats dinner. :)

Birthday at the Science Center

One of my favorite memories from being a kid was coming to Seattle on a field trip with my Summer camp. I remember driving on I-5 and seeing that first glimpse of the Seattle Skyline and getting so excited. I also remember the Science Center. Surprisingly I hadn't been back since those days way back when, not even with the kids. Today was the day that we made it happen though.

It didn't hurt that it was beautiful outside today! The sun was shining, we were in sweatshirts and everyone was out and about. Which means the Science Center was BUSY! The kids did pretty good entertaining themselves while we waited in lines though.

I couldn't believe that it looked exactly as I had remembered it! A few new things but so much was immediately familiar for me, including this dinosaur exhibit.

The kids enjoyed the water area.

And Yaya, Auntie Em and Miles explored the cause and effect room.

Next up was the Daft Punk laser show. I was super stoked for this as I had never been to one before and we just so happen to listen to a lot of Daft Punk in this house. So when the music came on and the very first song was Nolan's favorite, it loudly proclaimed "Hey! I know this song!" And for the last song the kiddos stood up and danced under the big top. I loved every second of it! Miles evidently wasn't as excited as he fell asleep right in the middle of everything. Auntie Em was in snuggling toddler heaven.

Waiting in line at the butterfly exhibit was also pretty entertaining. Can you see the butterflies checking us out?

Once inside, it didn't disappoint! SO. MANY. BUTTERFLIES!

One even landed on Yaya and the kids were able to thoroughly investigate it.

On the way back to the car, so much to see!
