Mother's Day Part II

This was my second mother's day, the first one chronicled here. This one was a bit more low key, which was perfect. Pat let me sleep in, made his famous Swedish pancakes and bought me flowers and a new book. Then we headed down to Tacoma to see my Aunt Carolyn's new house. We got stuck in traffic and got there late but the weather was gorgeous and there was plenty of food left, so no worries. Nolan was a big hit, entertaining the family and exploring the backyard. He loved this big flower pot, which he played like a drum for most of the day.
He is just about walking so we've been practicing a lot. Here he is running with Papa,
hanging out with Gigi,
and reading with mama.
This year i made sure to get a picture with Nolan to document our mother's day. Last year I had him with everyone but me. We got this picture, fitting that Nolan is looking down my shirt and Pat looks confused. But I think I look pretty good, so it's a keeper!
Oh and I had just ripped the tag off those overalls that morning, by the end of the day he had worn 3 holes in the tush from all his scooting, I'm ready for him to start walking!
