Sorry we have been MIA for the last...6weeks?! I guess that seems right. A combination of work and fun kept us out of the house more then we would like but now that Summer has hit we will be up to all sorts of things. Hopefully this will include blogging! :)
I did my best to document our adventures so bear with me as I catch you up on the day to day excitement that is the Clingman household.
Since we've been cooped up for what feels like the longest winter ever, we have been taking advantage of each sunny days (and some questionably overcast days) and getting out in our yard to play.
It all started out with me trying to take pictures of our garden to save in my inspiration files. I like to have as many pictures as possible to remind me in the dark grey winter of what I have to look forward to come Spring.
Examples:
This is my favorite color combination in our yard, it only lasts about a week but I have about 20 pictures to remember it by.
A close up of my lovely lilac tree.
This is when our mail man, Marty showed up and thought I was taking pictures of Nolan. I didn't want to correct him and leave him thinking I'm a crazy person taking pictures of my plants instead of my child. So he posed for this photo op to add to the album.
Then Nolan made things a little harder by photo bombing me any chance he got. Here he is with an unidentifiable but lovely bush.
This one is harder, can you see him in this one?
We ended up a with an even better way to preserve our flowers all year long.
Nolan fun fact: He can't say flowers quite yet but whenever he sees them (on TV, magazines, fake ones at JoAnns or in real life) he makes a sniffing nose like he's smelling them. So if you ask him to say flowers that is what he does, sniff sniff.
