iPhone offload: Early Fall

Things have calmed down here a bit lately. We've hit our stride in the Kindergarten routine, we even made it through our first sick day and missing the bus crisis. But most days are pretty mellow.

My bottomless pit child eating second breakfast. :)

Working it out on the playground.

This boy loves to read! We read a lot!

On this day I was working on packing up his summer clothes and unpacking his winter stuff so he decided to read every single book on his shelf.

I'm pretty sure I took this right after my last blog post. He was watching me type away and as soon I got up he started typing away too.

This was after Nolan's first day of school. They were so excited to see each other they spent all afternoon wrestling, which I've learned is the boy version of hugging and cuddling.

It is a near miracle we got this picture because the photographer didn't think they had anything. I was ready for picture retakes between the hair massacre and the fidgeting but it turned out so cute!

Seriously, a miracle considering these were the faces he was making while getting his picture taken.

I don't want this to get lost on Facebook so I'm posting it here too. Nolan has learned how to write all our names and decided to make us all place settings for dinner. He even made one for Miles that he stuck to his high chair, thank goodness because I was definitely going to try to sit there!

In mommy does fun stuff too news, I went to girl scout camp! They do an adult only camp as a fundraiser for the girl scouts organization and so a group of friends booked a cabin together. It was so much fun! There was horseback riding and crafts, cooking, soap making, rock climbing, archery.

Flower arranging, something I thought I was good at but after watching everyone else I have decided may not be my strongest asset.

We also did a wine pairing course where we most definitely earned our wine badge.

All the badges earned that weekend. It was so much fun, we are definitely planning on making it a yearly event.

The weekend after camp I joined more friends for an all women's  bike race to raise awareness for domestic violence. I'm not much of a bike rider so this was completely out of my comfort zone but I'm so glad I did it.
